Finding out that grandma was sick.
Flew to Ecuador and united with my family.
Familiarized my husband with my family, traditions, customs, etc.
Saw my Pinina ( dog ).
Spent time with grandma.
Grandma, my husband and i went to the Galapagos Islands.
Return with good news for my family here in New York.

Welcome to my Blog

Hello everyone welcome to my page. My name is Giovanna Silva I am a student from LaGuardia Community College. This is my last semester. My major is Liberal Arts Social Science and Humanities. I finished all my credits and I have done mi internship and this class is my last survey through LaGuardia College. When I was told to choose my last English class I was undecided because there are a lot to choose but I took my time checking all English classes and I found a very interesting description of ENG274. I right away register and until now I am enjoying this class a lot. During my academic progress I have been writing essays, journalism, and blogs. Reading is one of my passions and lately I have been reading one of my favorite authors which is Ken Follet. I am enjoying his books and I am having a lot of fun flying away with a good book. Since I was a little girl I liked to read and write poetry and journals. I came to the United states at the age of 17 and it was hard for me to read and write in English which is my second language. During my high school years I had to write essays and learn English. It was a great experience and now I love my second language and I enjoy reading. I did my internship in the Humane Society of New York  and I had to do reports about the animals every single day. Now I was hired to work with them and I am having a great experience thanks to my counselors and my sacrifice.
